Slow Motion

AI-powered slow motion

Create smooth slow-motion video from normal-speed footage. AI frame interpolation generates the missing frames for 2x, 4x, or 8x slowdown without the ghosting or artifacts of traditional slow-mo.

How Slow Motion Works

Slow Motion uses AI frame interpolation to generate the frames that would exist between the original frames of your video, creating a smooth slow-motion effect without the ghosting, stuttering, or artifacts of traditional frame blending. At 2x slowdown, the AI generates one new frame between each original pair. At 4x and 8x, it generates more intermediate frames for increasingly dramatic deceleration. Filmmakers add dramatic slow-motion to action sequences shot at standard frame rates. Sports content creators highlight key moments in athletic footage. Wedding videographers create emotional slow-motion cuts from ceremony footage shot on phones. Music video editors use slow-motion for artistic effect. Wildlife photographers extend brief animal behavior clips. Upload clean footage with minimal compression artifacts for the best interpolation quality. Fast-moving subjects (athletes, water splashes, explosions) produce the most visually impressive slow-motion effects. Footage with extreme motion blur or heavy compression may produce visible artifacts between interpolated frames. Start with 2x slowdown and go higher only if the footage supports it.

Do I need a subscription to use Slow Motion?
No. FairStack uses pay-per-use pricing. Add funds to your account and use any tool whenever you need it. There is no subscription, no monthly commitment, and no minimum spend.
What file formats does Slow Motion support?
Slow Motion outputs MP4. You can download results instantly after generation. All outputs are full quality with no watermarks.
How long does Slow Motion take?
Most generations complete in 15-60 seconds depending on duration and resolution. Processing time depends on the complexity of your input and the selected quality settings. You can monitor progress in real time.
Can I use Slow Motion outputs commercially?
Yes. All outputs generated on FairStack include a commercial-use license. You can use them in client work, products, marketing materials, social media, and any other commercial context.
What video formats and quality does Slow Motion support?
Input: MP4 or MOV video at any resolution up to 1080p. Output: MP4 at the same resolution as input, with the selected slowdown factor applied. The AI preserves audio but stretches it to match the new duration.
Can I use slow-motion videos in commercial productions?
Yes. All FairStack outputs include a commercial-use license. Slow-motion clips can be used in films, commercials, music videos, sports highlights, and any other professional video production.
